AFOLABI MUIDEEN - SYNW YOUNG WRITER OF THE MONTH (JUNE 2020)



Afolabi Muideen A. O (Afolabiliterary) hails from Osun State Nigeria, Iragbji precisely. He obtained his OND on Mass Communication from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State. And obtained his degree in English Education from Ekiti State University, an affiliated course to ILA Orangun. He is a learner, a teacher who had taught for years; had produced many students for tertiary institutions, some of whom are now graduates. 

He has helped many  aspiring writers became writers and helped established writers strengthen their writing prowess through free writing workshops, both online and offline. 

Afolabi is a writer who writes in all the three genres of literature; notwithstanding, he is specialised in writing prose. He has written many books, but published a number of them. Among them are: The Promotional Exam and Fathers' Bond. 

Afolabi believes in education, and has a strong love for it. He is the Executive Director of Writers' Global Movement known as Centre For Global Writers.

Yinka Olorunkosebi - SYNW Young Writer of the Month (JUNE 2020)


YINKA OLORUNKOSEBI - SYNW YOUNG WRITER OF THE MONTH (JUNE 2020)


Olayinka Olorunkosebi, a graduate of Babcock University and Robert Gordon University, is an actor, author, spoken with artist, storyteller, speaker, Librarian and a Children and Teens Coach.
His journey into the world of literature started as a teenager but got expression in his under graduate days where he wrote, presented and performed on several platforms. He even got an award then.

However in 2008, his first work Timeless Treasures a collection of poems was published.
That same year he was honored as 1 of the top 10 poets of the year by Lines From Africa.
The journey has been great ever since with its challenges 

Though he is yet to publish another single collection, but has been published in several publications like the newsletter if Arvon foundation UK, Poetry Enclave, The Tribune Newspaper, SYNW publications and many more.

He is a member of several other local and international bodies, an award winning performance poet, with other honorary recognitions and a foundation member of the Society for Young Nigerian Writers.

FASANMI SHINA - SYNW YOUNG WRITER OF THE MONTH (JUNE 2020)



Fasanmi Shina is a quintessential wordsmith with a deep interest in Creative Writing, Public Speaking, Advertising, Public Relations, Copy Writing and Copy Editing.

He encourages youth leadership, youth enterprise and capacity building.

As an administrator, he is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Corporate and Business Affairs Management (CICAM), Nigeria; Institute of Strategic Management (ISMN) and Society for Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW), With his designation as News Hub Creator for Opera News, Fasanmi also organizes regular literary engagements on language and communication. He runs an online bookclub and vocabulary clinic.

Fasanmi is the Lead Faculty at City-View Educational Consults and Media Consultant at TextPRO Services. ANGELICA CHINECHEREM UWAEZUOKE – SYNW STUDENT WRITER OF THE MONTH (JUNE 2020)



Angelica Chinecherem Uwaezuoke is a fiction writer and content creator who hails from Umuogele Amuda Isuochi in Umunneochi LGA of Abia State. She is in her penultimate year at the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka where she studies Medicine and Surgery.

As a child, Angelica was noticed to put down her imaginations of the world around her into writing for which extra efforts where made to encourage her to continue in this path.  Hibaya Book Club, a unique book reading club which she runs, aims to revive the exciting experience of reading amongst young people.

 Her masterpiece, VERNONIA , published on OkadaBooks brought her into limelight.
 Before this publication, several of her works have appeared in bulletins, Opera news hub and the maiden anthology of LOGISS Teen Authors Creativity Centre.
She is currently working on a second book- Black Faced Two-timer- which shall be published in the near future.

Angelica is a member of the Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) Enugu chapter, where she is the UNN Coordinator.

Her role model in prose writing is Chinua Achebe whose literary work seeks to preserve and nurture the African culture and heritage. She uses her stories to expose societal ills, discourage dishonesty, promote hard work and advance national unity.

Innocent David Chinaecherem - SYNW Student Writer of the Month (MAY 2020)

Innocent David Chinaecherem is an Undergraduate of Department of Public Health in Federal University of Technology Owerri, Born In April 14th in 1999, He Obtained His Secondary School Certificate at Logos International secondary school, Awomama in Oru East LGA Imostate as well as His Basic Primary School Education at Bethel Franco Anglo InterContinental Primary School Owerri. A passionate writer, communication consultant, an Advocate of good leadership& Bravery in academics and a Research Oriented Entity. Innocent David is from Okporo Orlu LGA, Imostate. 

He Currently runs the Centicinis Research Team which is Seen to be running in over 19 Universities in Nigeria which is aimed at Helping young talents who seems to be passionate in research to grow. As his nick implies, the Centicinis team has its core base at the famous Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and this Team as well as others in other institutions is one which Cuts across to so many disciplines to help young ones ascertain their potential in research and aid them link up NGOs Related to their fields. 

Innocent David was Elected the 7th Democratic President of Association of Public Health students federal University of technology Owerri FUTO on the 12th of September 2018. Since then, Through Painstaking Services, Sacrifices and Roles in Student Leadership which saw him Establish Lots of Partnerships, Innovations and Futuristic Initiatives with his Association, he has gone on to clinch a lot of leadership trophies to his Name and his Association. This Iconic Student Slellar Recognitions includes the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) seminar excellence to her students in Ile-ife, Also leadership Recognitions from Nigerian Association of Public Health Students in Osun state University Department of Public Health Stays in his Illustrious Basic Leadership career Record book as well as his Sterling leadership and academic recognition from University of Calabar, IMO State University Students of Public Health and 6 other institutions where he impacted their students through academics, Self Development and & leadership wise. Innocent David was Selected on 29th May as a Student Presenter in University of Dodoma, Tanzania to unmask the Evidences of Unproductivity in Academics through zeal and appropriate Selection through University of Dodoma, Tanzania Student Representatives. 

Innocent David Innocent David on September 13th 2019 was recognized as the Most active Departmental student leader by the SUG Hall Governance In federal University Owerri by the Remarkable Governance. Innocent David was appointed the South Eastern representative, National Association of Public Health students, by the Countrys & Students National Representative to improve Students activity towards Social and Academic Reunion and also the quest towards the National Body Establishment. Innocent David as a Public Health Undergraduate Scholar was selected at the WHO team which strayed towards the retroactive case search for Acute flaccid Paralysis(AFP) as an Epidemiological Local Surveyor with WHO in the Documentation & Team Certification of AFP Cases Check at Rural Health Facilities aimed at certifying Nigeria Polio Free. Innocent David was a key Student Presenter at the UHC Coverage Day Town hall meeting with Imo State health Insurance agency and WHO Imo state. Innocent David has been Selcted for Several Radio Programs where his Quest for a Pandemic of Academic Bravery and Good leadership is Driven through. 

Innocent David is a Christian by Religion. Innocent David, A Prolific and Revelatory Writer, a Social Reformer, He has a lot of teams established to his name to motivate the young ones as well as his self to Change the National Reputation of the country. He is currently the Coordinator of the Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) – FUTO Chapter.
