BAMIDELE TIMOTHY ODEDELE – SYNW YOUNG WRITER OF THE MONTH

Bamidele Timothy Odedele was born some years ago to the family of late Reverend Samuel Morolayo Odedele and late Mrs. Cecilia Onaloyin Odedele of Balogun compound, Edunabon, the west boundary of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He started his academic pursuit at Community Primary School, Ayekale-Agugu, Ibadan; graduated from Lagelu Grammar School, Agugu, Ibadan; S and J College, Owode-Orile, Lagos; bagged Diploma in Christian Education from Ibadan North Anglican Bible College; acquired Pan-African Liberation International Project certificate in Food Nutrition and Agricultural practices; became trained, qualified and certificated teacher at Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, Oyo State (N.C.E., Education for the Gifted and Talented and Social Studies), added first degree (B. Ed. Special Education and Political Science), second degree (M. Ed. in Special Education: Gifted and Talented) and Certificate of Computer Proficiency in University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Dele Odedele started his teaching career from private Nursery school in 2001, moved to government primary school in 2010, post primary schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Oyo State in 2014, and became lecturer in 2017 in the Department of Education for the Gifted and Talented, School of Special Education, Federal College of Education, Special, Oyo, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a prolific writer and author. He has published books for Basic one to nine, Senior Secondary Schools, Churches, and Organizations; written several national and international articles and made chapter contributions in professional journals and textbooks. Five of his books were approved for all schools by Ministry of Education, Oyo State, Nigeria. He has attended a number of national workshops, seminars, conventions and conferences.
